How to edit the message in review requests

While the default templates for review requests are set to follow review request best practices, you do have the option to edit what they say.

You can edit email templates and text message templates separately.

How to edit email templates

Select the Advanced Tools dropdown menu.

Select Email Templates.

There are different templates for different types of campaigns. Select the pencil icon next to the template you’d like to edit.

You can now edit the message of your review request by editing the text in that module.

NOTE

The text surrounded by brackets { } are used to personalize the message to your customer based on their unique contact information. Feel free to use any of the personalization tokens in the Template Variables section.

After double-checking for spelling and grammar, select  [✓ Update] to save this message.

How to edit text message templates

Select the Advanced Tools dropdown menu.

Select Text Message Templates.

There are different templates for different types of campaigns. Select the pencil icon next to the template you’d like to edit.

Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up until you get to the section titled, ‘Template Content’. You can now edit the message of your review request by editing the text in that module.
